SUNDAY NOVEMBER 11– 10:30 am
Alzheimer’s and Memory; A Spiritual Perspective, Rev Bev Preaching
Alzheimer’s disease has been described as “the great unlearning.” What does it reveal about our understanding of the nature of human identity? What remains when memory unravels? As Unitarian Universalists, we affirm and promote the inherent worth and dignity of every person and the free and responsible search for truth and meaning. How can we understand these values in the shadow of Alzheimer’s and memory loss? Join us for this important service as we recognize November as Alzheimer’s Awareness Month.
During this service, we will also be pausing at 11 am to join other Westborough Congregations and town departments to ring our church bells as we participate in “BELLS OF PEACE: A World War I Remembrance.”
